Let me start off by saying THANK YOU so very much! We could not be any happier with our new roof. It has proved to be all we were told and more.

Our home was build in 1863 and we have lived in it for 20 years. We have worked very hard to restore and keep it as original as possible. The new roof looks so much like wood that most people have a hard time believing it is metal. We have had so many people stop and ask about the roof I have lost count. We have handed out fliers to everyone and anyone; I took them to work and to Church and keep some in my car. I keep a picture of the house and the roof where I can show everyone.

Your employees from sales to installers and everyone in between went out of their way to make this a no hassle experience. Your sales people were not pushy but went out of their way to not disrupt our routine and answered all our question about the install.

With all the gables, dormers and valleys on the house along with the pitch of the roof. They had to work in sections starting on the front then to the north side and then to part of the back. They completed the north side of the roof first. Our bedroom is on the south side of the house and I sleep during the day and work nights. During the hot part of the day we use four window units to keep upstairs cool. I got up during the hot part of the day and went into my son's room on the north side of the house, it was like night and day. His room and the hallway were 20 degrees cooler than our bedroom. In our room you could feel the heat coming through the sheet rock on the ceiling, In his room the sheet rock was cool to the touch. Now that the roof is completed we only use two window units upstairs, and downstairs we are only using two instead of four.

I waited to wirte this letter till we had a few electric bills in to see the cost savings. I am still in shock; our bill was running 500.00 to 600.00 a month, now 225.00 to 300.00. Cut well in half. Before you could not go into our attic it was so hot, now it is warm but not breathtaking. I am just amazed at what a big difference it has made in the looks of our home and in the feel of it also.

Being the owners of a historic home is a big responsibility. We are sure we have make the best choice for our home with this new roof. We hope the house will be here in another 144 years and feel this roof will help it along in its long journey.

My husband and I are both retired and live on a fixed income, so we try to spend our money wisely. When it came time to replace our roof for the second time and with ever increasing electric bills, my husband started looking at alternatives for our roof.

When your advertisement came on TV, he told me to call and schedule an appointment. Someone called me back and set up an appointment for the next day. A nice young man came out to our home with all of his samples and large, color pictures of finished homes. It did not take long for us to know that this would be the best buy for our money. The superior materials used to insulate have convinced us that we will save many dollars on our electric bill.

I was not at home when the men finished the roof, but when I came around the corner and saw the finished product I could not believe what a difference it had made in the appearance of our home. It was beautiful!

The aluminum roofing system that was installed several months back is amazing. It was a very easy process. I dialed 1-877-OUR ROOF, the number I saw on television and within days someone came out and gave my wife and myself a very convincing presentation. The DL-40 Aluminum Roof was impressive. My roof was in need of some repairs and we all know costs can go thru the roof (so to speak). After listening and asking several questions, my wife and I decided to have the DL-40 Aluminum Roof installed.

I think there were several factors that helped us decide. First, the price was affordable, the sturdiness of the material, and of course it is energy efficient. I haven't actually figured exact savings but my electric bill is lower, guaranteed warranty- never needing another roof. That's awesome! Dear Friend,

There is no disadvantage to this roof. It is both practical and attractive. The practical, economical side is evidenced by it's performance throughout the drastic weather changes in this area during this time of year. The temperature fluctuates between the low thirties to the high seventies, but since this roof was installed our home has been much more comfortable, using only a little heat, and no air conditioning.

Dear Sirs:

We really like our new DL-40 aluminum roof! We had a thunderstorm Friday night and there were no longer any leaks. Plus, it was amazing how quiet the rain sounded, although it was pelting down so fast.

Besides previous hail storms, we were especially interested in aluminum roofing because we have had an aluminum swimming pool that has lasted for over 20 years and is still in good shape. The fact that this is recycled aluminum also pleased us because we are both teachers and stress taking care of the environment to our students.

The installation crew was very professional. They worked from sunup to sundown. We especially liked the way they carefully picked up any debris off the ground before they left for the day. After the job was finished, they cleaned up so there was no mess left in the yard. They even used a pressure sprayer to clean the outside walls of the house.

My husband was really impressed with how the system is designed to be attached to the old roof. I really like the way the roofers covered the exposed cedar beams which stuck out past the roof. They used aluminum in a color that perfectly matches the rest of the trim on the house.

As a young homeowner, I put the previous roof on my house myself. I called in a lot of favors from my family and friends, and it was still a major undertaking! I used a premium roofing material at the time, with a GOOD warranty, and found that after a few short years, it was getting rough in places. I was able to patch and repair, but never felt 100% confident in my roof again. 23 years later, and nearing the end of my premium roofing warranty, it was time to shop around.

The installers worked at a steady pace and completed the job in just a few short days. They cleaned the work site up daily, and policed the yard for any debris. In December of 2004, my wife and I determined that a new roof would soon be needed on our home. In the past, we have seen various metal roofing products at home shows and always hoped to have that for ourselves. Your television infomercial happened to be on one day, and we liked what we saw. After viewing, we called your 800 number. Within one day, we received a return call from our sales representative, and he scheduled an appointment to meet with us. He came out one evening and covered all aspects of the job thoroughly. He showed us the various colors of product available, discussed financing, and presented an actual bid that same evening.

We had also contacted other roofing companies, but yours was the first to respond. Within one week of signing the contract, our job was begun. Workers had to fight the cold, wet elements of December and did so without batting an eyelash. The entire job was completed within two weeks. We felt as if we had a brand new home. The appearance of the roof and the siding that was also installed at the same time, gives our home such a finished and classy look. Numerous neighbors have offered their compliments on our completed home improvement and for some of them that is high praise, indeed.

Since completion, a couple of small imperfections came to light. They were addressed and quickly and satisfactorily resolved. Dear FDI,

Please find enclosed the information you requested concerning the warranties on the roofs your company installed on our two houses last month, which I must say, look simply beautiful.

Honestly, I really never paid any attention to roofs on houses until I saw the DL40+ your company installs; that seems to be something men normally observe. I do look at roofs since ours were put on as I am driving around and most of the ones I see don't look too good. There are so many out there with an awfully weathered appearance and that are faded and seem to have runs all over them from the rain and wind, but I feel assured that ours will never look that way.

A lot of our neighbors have come over to look at our new roof and tell us how much they like it and we have already had a couple of inquiries from strangers about the product. It seems to me that I could feel the difference in the temperature of the house immediately and my son said that his air conditioner doesn't run nearly as much as it did after the roof on our second house was finished. Even though we have not had the roofs a month yet, the electric bills on both of the houses were quite lower than previous ones. We have also been advised by our insurance agent that we would receive a 7% reduction on the cost of our fire and hazard policies and with two lifetime warranties, there has to be some value added to the selling price of either property should we ever decide to sell one or both of them.

Of course, the initial cost for such a roof is more than conventional ones, but when you factor in the replacement cost of the other types of shingles available on the market today, which must be spent about every ten years with an increase in price each time, then, it really isn't more costly. I don't know if builders offer this type of roof to new home owners, but if not, they certainly should.

We also wanted to let you know that we appreciate the courteous way that Mike Broyles handled our entire transaction. We were very comfortable with his presentation and his demeanor as well as the promptness and efficiency of the work crew. Everyone was very pleasant throughout the replacement of both of the roofs and we could not believe how fast the work was done.
